GARMENT SIZING GUIDE

When choosing safety workwear for your staff, getting sizing right is imperative. Too tight, and movement may be restricted, too loose, and there's a danger of snagging. Either of these pose a risk to your staff, and is easily avoided.

When measuring your staff for their workwear or safety garments, bear these tips in mind:

• Measurements should be taken in centimeters.
• Be sure to measure over the undergarments or garments your staff are likely to wear under their protective clothing.
• Measure straight and level, and remember that snug is good - too tight is not!

Key measurements you will need to take are:

Neck - measured around the lowest part of the neck.
Torso / chest - measured around the largest part of the torso, without lifting arms up.
Waist - measure on the natural waistline.
Hips - measure around the widest part of the hip, while standing.
Inseam - measure from the heel of the shoe to the crotch (or use measurement from another pair of pants that fit.)
